About J-B Tree Specialist
J-B Tree Specialist, LLC has served the Capital District for more than 26 years, with divisions in Ravena and Delmar, NY. The licensed and insured crew handles tree removal, stump grinding, bucket-truck and crane work, storm-damage cleanup, lot clearing, pruning, cabling and bracing, and planting for residential and commercial properties, with free estimates and senior and military discounts.
Media Pillars built the company's current website and manages its online reviews.
Industry: Tree removal, stump grinding, crane and bucket-truck service, storm cleanup, lot clearing · Location: Ravena and Delmar, NY — Albany, Greene, Columbia and Rensselaer Counties · Website: jbtreespecialistllc.com
The Challenge
A tree company with two divisions and four counties of service area needs a site that makes the phone ring after a storm and ranks in each county the rest of the year — and it needed to replace an aging web presence without the domain, email, or Google listing going dark during the switch.
The build also had to present crane and bucket-truck capability, storm response, and discounts clearly on a phone screen, because that is where a homeowner with a tree on the garage is looking.
What Media Pillars Built & Manages
Media Pillars delivered the build and continues to support the company's reputation.
WordPress + Avada Website Build
A new site built from the ground up on Avada with Rank Math and WP Rocket: mobile-first, fast, and organized by service and division.
DNS & Domain Migration
Domain, DNS, and email records migrated to the new site with no downtime and no broken Google Business Profile links.
Service & County Structure
Removal, stump grinding, crane service, storm cleanup, and lot clearing each given a page, mapped to Albany, Greene, Columbia, and Rensselaer Counties.
Google Review Response Management
Optimized responses to Google reviews for both divisions, reinforcing service keywords and the company's 26-year record.
Lead Capture
Click-to-call and estimate-request paths built for storm-day traffic, ready for missed-call text-back and AI receptionist on the Media Pillars platform.
Website Care
Ongoing updates, security, and performance so the site stays fast through spring and storm seasons.
The Outcome
- A modern, fast site that presents two divisions and four counties clearly to homeowners and commercial clients.
- The domain switch happened with no downtime and no lost Google presence.
- Reviews are answered consistently, strengthening the Maps listing for both locations.
- The site is structured to add AI receptionist and text-back for storm-season call spikes.
