The Challenge

A maker who sells in a physical shop and online needs one inventory. WooCommerce and Square have to agree on what is in stock, product links have to resolve, and checkout has to work on a phone for a gift buyer in another state.

The site was also hit by a WordPress spam-injection attack that planted fake product rows in the database, and a later server change caused connection problems for some iPhone visitors — both had to be diagnosed and fixed without taking the store offline.

The Outcome
