12 Industries We Serve and How We Grow Revenue in Each
Every local business has the same four leaks: not being found, not answering, not following up, and not asking for the review. Here is what those leaks cost in twelve industries, what closes them, and how we prove it in Google Analytics.
Media Pillars grows revenue for local businesses in twelve industries the same way each time: make the company the one Google Maps, Google’s AI Overviews and ChatGPT name for its services in its towns; answer every call, text and web chat 24/7 so paid-for leads are not lost; follow up automatically until the job is booked; and ask for the review that earns the next customer. Every step is measured in Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console and the business’s own call log.
- Most local businesses lose 20–30% of inbound calls and never follow up on the estimates they do send. Fixing that is the fastest revenue gain, usually inside 30 days.
- AI assistants recommend two or three businesses they can verify from consistent facts, service pages and recent reviews. If you are not verifiable, a competitor is named.
- The same four-step engine works across HVAC, plumbing, legal, restaurants, retail and the rest; only the pages, the scripts and the seasons change.
- Plans start at $197 per month and are month to month. You own the website, the reviews, the list and the data.
The four-step revenue engine every industry shares
Before the industry detail, here is the system. It is deliberately boring. Marketing that grows revenue is not a viral video; it is closing four leaks in the right order and measuring each one.
Get found covers Google Business Profile, local SEO, structured data and the newer AI-search signals (consistent facts, one page per service, an llms.txt file, review velocity). Answer every lead is a 24/7 AI receptionist, missed-call text-back and website chat. Convert and book is automated follow-up, online booking and a CRM. Reviews are requested by text after every job and answered within a day, which feeds step one. We wrote about how assistants choose who to name in this post, and what a single missed call costs in this one.
HVAC & Heat Pump Contractors Full industry page →
The leak
A no-heat call at 9 PM in January goes to the next company on the list within about 90 seconds. Peak season is chaos, shoulder season is quiet, and homeowners now ask ChatGPT “best heat pump installer near me” and get one name, not ten links.
What we do
We make your company the one Google Maps, AI Overviews and ChatGPT name for furnace repair, AC installation and heat pump searches in your towns, then answer every call, text and web chat 24/7 so the emergency becomes a booked job. Our owner runs sales and marketing for a Mitsubishi Diamond Elite heat pump dealer, so the rebate, NYS Clean Heat and cold-climate questions are answered on your site before the customer calls.
Revenue math: One recovered no-heat call a week at a $450 average service ticket is about $23,000 a year. One extra heat pump install a month is another $8,000–$15,000 in revenue.
Plumbing Companies Full industry page →
The leak
Emergency plumbing goes to whoever answers first. Most plumbers we audit have reviews that stopped two years ago, which makes the business look closed to both Google and an AI assistant.
What we do
24/7 answering with missed-call text-back, a review system that asks every finished job by text, and one page per service (water heaters, drain cleaning, sump pumps, repipes) written to be quoted by AI. Structured data ties it together so the assistant can verify you.
Revenue math: Plumbers typically miss 20–30% of inbound calls. Recovering half of them at a $350 ticket adds $2,000–$4,000 a month for a two-truck shop.
Electrical Contractors Full industry page →
The leak
Estimates go out and never close. Panel upgrades, EV chargers and generators are researched for weeks, and if nothing follows up, the homeowner forgets which electrician they liked.
What we do
Automated estimate follow-up by text and email, service pages that answer the “how much does a panel upgrade cost” questions AI assistants pull from, and Google Business Profile posts that show recent installs.
Revenue math: If you send 40 estimates a month and follow-up lifts the close rate from 25% to 32%, that is roughly three more jobs a month at $2,500 average.
General Contractors & Home Builders Full industry page →
The leak
Your best work lives on your phone, not your website. Remodel decisions take months and leads go cold while you are on a job site.
What we do
A portfolio-driven website with project pages Google and AI can read, a CRM that keeps every lead warm with scheduled check-ins, and a booking link so the consultation gets scheduled without phone tag.
Revenue math: One additional $40,000 kitchen or addition per quarter pays for years of marketing.
Tree Service & Landscaping Full industry page →
The leak
Storm day: 200 calls and one phone. Spring quote week: everyone wants a price the same seven days. The rest of the year the phone is quiet and marketing is forgotten.
What we do
Overflow answering that captures every storm call with address and photos, a quote-request form that books the site visit, and seasonal campaigns (spring cleanup, fall removal, plowing) sent automatically to last year’s customers.
Revenue math: Capturing 30 more storm-day leads at a 40% close and $900 average removal is $10,800 from a single storm.
Law Firms & Attorneys Full industry page →
The leak
Intake calls after 5 PM go to voicemail, and decades of expertise sit in the partners’ heads instead of on pages that Google and AI can cite.
What we do
Practice-area pages, FAQs and legal schema that make the firm quotable for the matters it wants; 24/7 intake that qualifies and books the consultation; a review program that respects bar advertising rules.
Revenue math: One additional retained family-law or estate matter a month at a $3,500 average fee is $42,000 a year.
Restaurants, Pubs & Hospitality Full industry page →
The leak
“What time do you open?” thirty times a day. Seasonal hours that never match Google. A menu PDF nobody can read on a phone, so the AI assistant recommends the place with a real menu.
What we do
Hours, menu, photos and reviews kept accurate on Google Business Profile, Apple Maps and the website; an AI that answers the phone questions and takes reservations or event inquiries; review requests after every large party.
Revenue math: Twenty more covers a week at a $38 average check is about $39,000 a year in sales.
Retail Shops & Online Stores Full industry page →
The leak
Two inventories, one headache. Product pages Google cannot read, so nothing shows in Google Shopping or in AI answers to “where can I buy X near me.”
What we do
A WooCommerce or Square store running from one inventory, product schema on every page, a Google Merchant Center feed, and email/SMS to your own customer list instead of renting an audience from social platforms.
Revenue math: Moving from 1% to 2% online conversion doubles online revenue without a single extra visitor.
Moving & Storage Companies Full industry page →
The leak
Five quotes requested, one booking, and it was not you. Quote requests arrive missing half the details, and the first mover to call back usually wins.
What we do
Instant text-back on every quote request, a structured quote form that collects rooms, dates and access up front, and local-SEO pages for each metro so you are the mover Google Maps and AI name.
Revenue math: Responding in under five minutes instead of the next morning lifts quote-to-book rates dramatically; two more moves a week at $1,800 is $187,000 a year.
Insurance Agencies Full industry page →
The leak
Web leads sit in an inbox until Monday while captive agents spend corporate budgets. Renewals and cross-sell opportunities are tracked in someone’s memory.
What we do
Lead routing that texts the prospect and the producer within a minute, automated renewal and cross-sell sequences, and pages for home, auto, business and life insurance that answer the questions AI assistants get asked.
Revenue math: Ten more policies a month at a $300 first-year commission, with renewals compounding every year after.
Auto Dealers & Repair Shops Full industry page →
The leak
Service calls come in during the lunch rush and go unanswered. Inventory pages nobody maintains. Reviews that mention one bad experience with no reply.
What we do
An AI that books service appointments by phone and text, inventory pages with vehicle schema, and a review response program so the shop looks alive and trusted.
Revenue math: Five additional repair orders a week at a $420 average is over $100,000 a year in service revenue.
Nonprofits, Venues & Event Organizers Full industry page →
The leak
Ticket platforms take a cut of every seat and own your attendee list. The website is updated by one volunteer, and event pages never make it into Google’s event listings.
What we do
Reserved-seat ticketing and registration on your own site with Square, event schema so shows appear in Google, and email/SMS campaigns to the list you now own.
Revenue math: Saving a 10% platform fee on $80,000 in annual ticket sales is $8,000 back in the mission, before a single extra seat is sold.
How we measure it in Google Analytics 4 and Search Console
Every client report uses the same six numbers, pulled from tools you already own and can log into yourself. If a number is not moving, we change the work, not the report.
If your GA4 is not set up to capture calls and forms as key events, start with our GA4 checklist for small businesses. It is the first thing we fix in every audit.
What it costs

Questions we get asked
Which industries does Media Pillars work with?
Twelve core local-business industries: HVAC and heat pumps, plumbing, electrical, general contracting and home building, tree service and landscaping, law firms, restaurants and hospitality, retail and e-commerce, moving and storage, insurance agencies, auto dealers and repair shops, and nonprofits and event venues. Other local service businesses fit the same system.
How does marketing actually increase revenue for a local business?
Four ways, in order: being the business Google Maps and AI assistants name for your services, answering every call and message so paid-for leads are not lost, following up automatically until the job is booked, and asking for the review that earns the next customer. Each step is measured in Google Analytics 4, Search Console and your own call log.
What does it cost?
Plans are published on our pricing page. Never Miss a Lead starts at $197 per month, Front Office AI is $397, Get Found Everywhere is $897 (includes AI Visibility Foundation), Market Leader is $1,297 (includes AI Visibility Growth) and Market Leader Plus is $1,797. Plans are month to month and you own every asset.
Do I have to change my website or phone system?
No. The programs run on your existing website, Google Business Profile, phone number and dispatch or CRM software. Where a site is holding you back we say so and quote a rebuild separately.
How do you show that it is working?
You get a monthly report from Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console alongside the call and booking log: calls answered, leads captured, appointments booked, reviews earned, and which Google and AI queries brought them. If the numbers are not moving, our guarantees page says what we do about it.
How long before results show up?
Call answering and text-back produce booked jobs in the first week. Google Business Profile and review gains typically show in 30–60 days. Organic and AI-search visibility builds over 3–6 months and compounds after that.
Not on the list? Dentists, veterinarians, salons, fitness studios, real estate teams and property managers run on the same engine with different pages and scripts. See all industries or tell us about yours.
